How to become a Software Engineer
Software engineers design, build and maintain the applications and systems that businesses run on. It remains the single largest graduate-hiring function in India, and it is unusually forgiving about which degree you hold: demonstrated ability to build things carries more weight than the name on the certificate.
The path from class 12

Scope and outlook
Demand is broad but the entry-level market has become more selective: employers now filter hard on demonstrated project work. The role also branches widely after three to five years into backend, frontend, mobile, DevOps, data engineering and machine learning, which makes it one of the more mobile careers available.
