Does the affiliated college matter, or just the university?
The college matters a great deal. The degree is awarded by IP University, but teaching quality, infrastructure and placement support differ substantially between affiliated colleges. Research the specific college, not just the university, before filling choices in counselling.
How competitive is IPU CET?
Competitive, particularly for Computer Science and for the stronger affiliated colleges. Delhi-domicile candidates have an advantage under the state quota, and outside candidates compete for a smaller share of seats.
